I have planned an hour long ride through the back roads that is freshly paved and is an awesome drive, it goes through all of the old resorts in the poconos that are now closed down,

Go to camelback and don't stop until you are at the top of the mountain. It's a state park so don't speed it's a federal offense. As you are driving to camelback you will pass it on the left. So just keep going to the lookout area (it's the dead end)

no more than a few minutes once you pass camel beach

I just realized that this is more of a southeastern PA gtg and if someone is coming from wilkes Barre the best way is to take 81N to 380(depending on which part of wilkes, i forgot thatsome parts of it do exist.)

How long approximately do these rides usually last?

Matt1488
10th July 2011, 11:38 AM
I've never been to a 20-30 Saab gtg other than Carlisle. Alex and I went to jersey to meet 2 other saabers. A 2hr drive. And I plan to go to new York next week for a gtg up there.

Matt1488
10th July 2011, 11:45 AM
I have no clue how long this last. It could be all day. Could be a few hours. Depends on the fun. And there is alot to do in this area that we are going to.

GTurner598
10th July 2011, 11:54 AM

Matt1488

MR.SAAB
10th July 2011, 12:36 PM
1 hour ride plus an ice cream stop half way through. It's like driving through the ghost town areas of the poconos where all the resorts closed down. It's pretty awesome. I drive it to go to work sometimes to just go for a nice ride
