: Your Profile?
D. Wolfe 14-01-04, 10:40 PM Hello Ladies & Germs:
Many of the US members have not had the opportunity to meet, like our friends across the pond have thru their meets and gatherings.
We have also not had the opportunity to see all of our friends across the pond(well, except for Munki as his handsome mug is plastered all over this website!!)
If you were asked to describe yourself so someone could visualize what you looked like, how would you profile yourself?
MonkeyMan 14-01-04, 11:21 PM I will draw a pic of myself in Paint and post it.

What about you Wolfeman?
I have to apologize that I don't have a picture of myself to post ... I'm always the one behind the camera (you might thank me for that one day  ).
I'm 5'10", just a hair over 200 lbs, I have a think neck (my wife says I have no neck - 18 1/2"), I wear glasses, and have short brownish blonde hair part on the right side.
If you were to ask my wife, she would also say that I have a "baby face" ... that I look 10 years younger than I am.
And it's not that I want to make any of you guys jealous, but I only have to shave every other day!
Well I'm 6 foot & 245lbs and "a face that only a mother could love" (thanks to Maureen in City Bakers for that comment  ) Such hair that hasn't fallen out has turned a distinguished silver.
Tweek's Turbos 15-01-04, 08:58 AM Well, DeLorean, I don't want to see you, but I suppose I'll be there anyways. :cheesy:
As for me I am 6'2" I used to be kinda scrawny but thanks to my Anti-Atkins diet, I'm finally bulking up.
I am fairly odd, I do random things to gauge peoples reactions. I also like to quote obscure movie phrases, and such. I like to wear Tshirts, and jeans, however I bring out the Hawiians and Khakis on special occasions.

jetman@home 15-01-04, 09:09 AM I've been told I lok like the all american boy. Also been told that I look like the world's biggest snob and I'm unapprachable! Gee thanks!

You guys ever going to have a WESTERN Saab Meet??? hehehe
Abbott 900 15-01-04, 10:03 AM Well, I'm 6'2", about 190lbs, dark hair, and I'm prone to doing very very stupid things whilst drunk...
This normally involves finding something high to jump off, or generally finding the absolute limited of what everyone else is prepared to do, and going just that little bit further...
This is me diving off an 8 foot wall head first into a bramble bush, and getting well and truely stuck...

Fialchar 20-08-04, 04:03 AM That room is my dad's office before he painted (When that pic was taken I didn't have my webcam, so I used his). My room is painted all white aside for posters, and a picture of a black wolf.

Oh just kidding. :D
Basically Freemasonry is supposed to do a couple of things. 1. make better men out of good men by helping to reinforce morality in your life and 2. raise lots of money for charity. Shriners are Masons, you've heard of the Shriners hospitals? Individual Lodges raise money for local (Town and surrounding areas) things like the DARE programs, food pantries, scholarships, etc.
Hows that for a quick and dirty description?

They have wonderful ritual in Canada. Ours is nice too. Did your father have a Masonic funeral/rite performed?
When you become a Mason they present you with an apron and then tell you that the only time you wear it is when you are going through the degrees, and when you die. :o Otherwise you just wear the aprons provided at each Lodge when you attend/visit.

Aww...
And I though masons actually did masonry... Like built walls and ****... :P
candiazoo 22-08-04, 09:00 PM They do. We are called "speculative" Masons. The one's that actually build walls and such are called "operative" Masons.

You know ... I'm not sure ... it was just over 7 years ago now ...
One thing that my father wanted done after he died was to take his Masonic ring and wedding band and have them made into rings for my sister and I.
My wife had that done for Christmas for the 2 of us some years ago ... one of the best gifts I've ever been given! :D

Terrible!!!!
microcat36 01-09-04, 01:20 PM Don't worry about it , i don't,there are worse things in life.
I had an accident 22 years ago, and now the nerves in my fingers have died out,an i have lost the feeling in both my arms but i can still move my thumb and hand, this might be as far as it goes or not, the hospital does not know, i will just have to wait.
As i said no point in worrying about it,i don't let it affect my life or work, i look on it this way, there are people a lot worse off than me, sorry i did not mean to drag the tone of the topic down, when i posted the pictures.
D. Wolfe 01-09-04, 03:18 PM You didn't bring the tone down of the post at all!!
Was just concerned about your condition and the impact of it worsening...and you are obviously attacking this with a great positive attitude!
Best Wishes to you!
Fialchar 01-09-04, 10:59 PM I second that, you're applying a great attitude, and I wish you the best of luck.
Here's photos of 3 of 6 of my favourite girls,
No#1 was taking the photo, 2 and 3 were not here!
