Im interested in a Biturbo setup and am wondering if any one else has tried to do this, Also Ive searched the forums for information about tunning the the turbo in my car and have found relatively nothing( probably a poor searcher) the things I would like to know are what is the stock boost pressure in them and how high can we adjust it and how do we go about doing so?
You would need an ECU tune to crank up the boost. You should make sure your car is in top running condition before considering mods. Suspension, brakes, fluids, etc. I'm sure you could find something to fix on that car if you looked hard
I just bought it from a dealer in march brand new breaks, just did oil plugs and fuel filter and a open air filter, what are some other things i should check before doing mods and what is this bolt trick to increase turbo power i keep hearing about. I have the 04 Arc is the only difference between arc and aero the ecu tune and suspension?
The 2004 Arc uses the 2.3L engine with the TD04 Turbo. Stock power is 220 hp and 309nm of torque. Mechanically, the only difference between the Aero and Arc of this year would be the suspension and ECU tune.
Here is where my 2004 Arc is currently- 264 hp and 409nm of torque. It goes well, 0-60 mph in an even 6 seconds consistently, and it is an auto.
there is really no reason other than it in my mind would be cool. my goal is to eventually to have my car up to 350 hp so currently stock i have 220 hp, first step is going to be an ecu tune. i checked out the ecuproject forums trying to see if i can find an aero ecu files but i have no clue how there boards work so confusing haha. so stage one tune is an ecu and air filter ive done the filter and now im starting to look into the ecu but i would love to just have two turbos for the sound of it as well. Also where does one get a dyno of there car done and how much do they cost?
i totally missed the fact i never answered what engine i have yes its the 2.3 and all though a little blunt you may have just saved me time and money my friend ive been reading all day and the benefits of twin turbo are eclipsed by some of the draw backs i think im just going to go with a bigger turbo. the garrets are very expensive like you said holset looks good what holset should i look into getting?

That dyno chart is part of the T7 suite package found on ECUProject.
I have stock areo tunes (in both 250 and 260 hp) as well as a few others that have been run for 10K+ miles with good results.
I have run a lot of tunes and some of them look good in t7suite but do not perform as expected when loaded in the car. I downloaded a Hirsch stage 1 tune 4 days ago and it made my car run like crap, not smooth power, ect. I have 3 tunes so far that I really have had good results with and they all are 250-270 hp range. I am trying to push it beyond that but perhaps I am just too picky with how the car acts, I want power but I want it smooth. I have a feeling that using an automatic transmission is my downfall.
You can get 350 whp pretty easily with one turbo (and all the supporting mods, of course....)
Your major Garrett options are a GT3071 or GT3076, but the Holsets HX35s are cheaper and extremely robust.
