Well, i finished up a lot of stuff today, specifically my 3" exhaust and downpipe. the only thing I'm missing is my option for a cat. I heard that we can run catless just fine if i only had one oxygen sensor, well.. i have two. I don't want a cat so i'll get that out of the way. i live in florida and we don't have emissions. I have my 2000 for daily driving and the 99 is for "fun". is it going to be possible to run catless without a cel? if so, how? i know it's nothing like our mustangs where i can just turn the rear o2's off, so if anyone has any info let me know.
I think your other option besides turning the checks off in a tune would be to use some sort of resistor on the sensor plug. You'll have to do a bit of research but I believe you should be able to just solder a specific resistor between two points on the connector and you'll be good to go.
That smell is just irresistible and the little extra rasp from the exhaust is worth it. Do it.
Pretty sure JZW will tune to turn off the back o2 sensor. My friend has it on his 900s.
