My plastic undercarriage plastic is a disaster. A big piece of already fell out, so underneath of my engine is practically broken. Now its just broken sides that stick out, and from far enough it makes the undeside of the car look terrible.
A long time ago, on this forum, some guy made his own piece to replace the original. Anyone have any experience dealing with this?
I went with the 3mm. Using a fine metal blade in my jigsaw, it cuts like butter. Its easy to file and sand as well to get a nice smooth edge. Instead of DiBond, you could also use a similar material called e-panel. Its slightly less rigid (same type of construction), but the price would be easier on the wallet.
It must have automatically edited the link or whatever off your post (did that to me yesterday too).
It's the panel that covers the sump and screws onto the subframe and front panel.
