Who has the highest millage aero? im at 160k and running perfectly engine is still dead quite feels like it has load of miles left. for some reason i dont seem to be worried about the millage either, who has the highest millage areo thats not been rebuilt yet?
One reason iv decided to keep mine is i dont want the hassel of selling a car with 160k+ and the fact that i love the car and it simply can not be beated for comfort equipment and power for the price.
Im thinking if my engine dies at some point i will have it rebuilt, which will cost me more than the cars worth but the way i look at it is i will have an engine thats praticly new and will last me for manny manny miles to come.
157k Miles on my clock, she should go for another while (Touch wood).
I've done a hell of a lot of work to resolve familiar 9-5 issues however I do have a slight over consumption of oil issue to resolve (Which I hope wont be too hard to fix).
Mine is a base model rather than an Aero, but the base model's Garrett turbocharger is widely considered to be less durable that the Aero's Mitsubishi turbo and my Garrett is factory original.

I have 166k on my Aero. Engine still runs great, but the balance chain is stretched and makes a horrible noise. Both timing and balance chain will be replaced down the road.
152k on mine. Runs fine but uses a bit of oil and there's some transmission noise when off the gas. No plans to change in the foreseeable future (touch wood).
No where near the miles, 100 k, but I have the same manual trans noise when off the gas. What causes this? everything else is great. New shocks, struts, xenon bulbs, else vacuum lines, nothing else so far.
182,300 on my 01 lpt sedan runs like a top besides the minor maf problem that just came about everything is all orignal including the factory saab exhaust that just started rusting this year other then that car looks and drives amazingg
150K on my 2004. This is the best driving/riding saab I have ever been in, they really got it right on the 2004/2005 models.
