Iv recently fitted an open air filter to my 9-5 aero which has give me a nice whistle and the stock bov can now be heard, my problem is my stock bov sounds more like a coff then a Tshhhh  i was just wondering if changing to an aftermarket bov would make any diffrence?
I installed the Forge type and it sounds 'nice' but not louder by any means.
It's best to replace the stock Bosch once you have an open air intake installed anyway, eventually it will fail and you'll think an Owl has nested up under your bonnet.
I have a Baily and it is not louder, but sounds more like a curshhhhh? I don"t think that made sense to me either, but it is the best I could think of.
