Hello,

I am thinking about buying a VDO MS 3200 navigation system for my Saab 9-3 sport sedan 2003. The VDO manuals tells me to connect a cable to the tapping position of the speedometer signal. It says that many cars are supplied with the speedometer signal on one of the car radio connectors. Is this the case for my saab 9-3 and how can I reach this connector or if not is there another place to get speedometer signal.

im not sure if this is true, but ive hear the radio is using fibreoptics which is integrated into the display above it. I am not sure what you are talking about adding but i dont think it would be a good idea if you take the stock radio out. can anyone else claify this?
