I'm thinking about upgrading my wheels and tires on my 2000 9-5 with some 20" rims. The guy at the rim shop assured me that there is enough clearance to put this size rim on there, but i have heard from others that 18" rims are a better bet. My question is : Is there anyone out there running 20" rims and what is the pros and cons of running that size. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Somebody put 22s on his 9-5. They looked horrible, in my opinion, but the were on there. The only issues I've seen with larger rims is lesser ride quality, and that if your car doesn't have a lowered suspension, it will be a little higher. I would stick to 18s.
