Just Kidding. I just want to subscribe to this thread to get some ideas for my next set. Even though I'm pretty much positive that I'll get 9-3 Vector/Aero wheels.
Also, since most are running 17's, what's your preferred tire size and brand? Factory upgrades were shipped with Dunlop 215/45/r17's. I'm in the market soon and most are just a hair cheaper than 225. Thinking Hankook for the price but the Ventus Evo's that came on the car well used are a vibration nightmare.
My 2002 Aero has, I believe, stock 16inch wheels. What are my options? I believe SAABS can be finicky? My saloon is silver, and is crying out for some sexy boots. What colour wheels would look best with a silver sedan?
Perhaps you could point me to a thread where wheel sizes and options have been discussed before?
I am a newbie to the brand.
New Zealand based.
In fact, there aren't any generous feeling rich yanks out there who could shout me a redundant set of 18"s sitting in your garage gathering dust....
Poor, earthquake ravaged kiwi here...
Here is my Sportcombi with some Limited Edition OEM rims on it. And one pic with the factory rims on it. I wanted to put a set of Gary Fisher rims on it but I was given a good price for them so I sold them.
Stock rims of a 9-3ss. 16" and pretty cheap! I think they are pretty classy (but still shows tons of brake!!!). Some people could use them to keep up the 9-5's good looks in the winter time. I'm modest so they are good for all year

Its not my daily driver anymore, so the plan is to keep it garaged all winter and just use it in summer. My winter bomber is a lovely little c900 that has about twice the clearance. I have no fear thowing that thing in the ditch. Otherwise, I totally agree. Ive plowed so many roads out with it.
I will be back around Thanksgiving time, so if you are going to be home around then I can give you a ring. I might be going up to see JZW around that time too.:cheesy:
