Just been reasembling car now with 5 speed.Yippee. Have noticed on the left side there is no brace running from subframe to mount point near brake master cylinder but on other wall.I can only guess its been missing for years! Would of thought it was pretty important as it forms part of triangulation.
have you got a spare Rawill?

Do you mean the top "dog bone" stabiliser with the rubber mounts?

There arent any rubber mounts on it. Its about a foot long .one either side .and runs vertically subframe up to body a single long bolt secures it at subframe end vertical and short bolt horizontal at top.The haynes manual calls it a strut ,it isnt the mcpherson stut though.
