Hi all.

Newbie question. Regarding the Abbot or Hirsch chips, I notice that the 150/175hp motors go to 195hp w/ the new chip, but the 210's go to 235hp (maybe numbers are slighty off). Anyway, my question is - why the diff? In all I've read, it seems like the only diff in motors is the boost & ECU parameters. Why cant the 175 motors see the same increase as the 210 motors?

Thanks.

Because 175hp got a Garret Turbine and 210hp got a Mitsubishi Turbine..
There are Upgrade turbine from Mitsubishi..for 93ss

2.0 Model. From 175 BHP to 210 BHP- 265 n/m to 305 n/m Part Number: Fen 002
2.0 Aero. From 210 BHP to 230 BHP - 300 n/m to 330 n/m Part Number: Fen 004

Welcome jazman

The 210hp engine does have the Mitsubishi TD04 turbocharger and upgraded cams. There are probably some more little tid bits that separate them also.

Bear in mind also that the 210hp engine has had less r&d done on it. Alot of the companies are promising higher hp yields in time.

So what the hell happens if we shove on the mitsu upgrade, and the ECU upgrade. How many horsepower will we have ?

I send them an e-mail and I asked them this question.
I got a reply in French ,so I asked them for a reply in English, since I cannot speak/read French.
They never replied back.........

The e-mail was sent to Abbott.
I was asking for more details about the turbo upgrade and for a dealer in Belgium.
They probably thought that I'm a Belgian and replied in French.
I also e-mailed Hirsch asking for details about the ECU upgrade for my Aero.
They did not reply at all....

This is a good idea.
I think that they only have details about the dealer in Belgium and nothing else.
When I will return home,I will translate it and post the results.

My French isn't too good any more, but that's a fairly accurate translation, if somewhat literal. I think the last line is basically: give us a ring for more information. Also, Niko is French - he's usually around the C900 performance forums - he might be able to help.
