I checked out the abbott racing site and found that they have Koni struts and shocks for the new 9-3 SS. But when I checked the Koni site, could not find any part # for the 9-3SS. It must be a custom job that Koni has with Abbott racing, much like the ITG airfilter. I guess eventually, it will filter down to the Koni manufacturing after a year and becomes available then.

My wife's 330i is 3 years old, with 28,000 miles on it. The shocks still feel okay, rebounding only once most of the time. But when I push the car through corners, I can really tell it's not the same as when it was brand new. I checked the Koni site and found the part# for the 330i. To my surprise, the price for it was exactly the same as that of the BMW OEM part. Given this, I will definitely change the struts/shocks to Koni, given it's better performance and adjustability.

Bilstein should be coming out with shocks for the SS soon. They have all the model and engine numbers on their site.

I just checked their website www.bilsteinshocks.com but there is no ref. to a 2003 9-3 SS. Which Bilstein website did you check?

In any case, if the price of the shocks for the 2002 9-3 is the same as the 2003 9-3 SS, at $82.00 a piece, it's great!

Wow... :o after struggling with those German words, I managed to get to the product catalog section... but hey, I still don't find the shock for 2003 SAAB 9-3 SS. All it has was for the 2002 model. I am not sure if the 2002 part # will fit the 2003 model.
