hello everyone i recently got my 5th saab
a 2000 saab 9-3 viggen monte carlo yellow 4dr
it has
6pt subframe
rear sway bar
steering brace
bsr stage 1
custom 3in catback resonator delete
open air intake

i want stage 3 but im not sure if nordic will downgrade my hp
being that bsr claims 276hp 311tq with stage 1
and nordic is 290hp 310 tq

also if anyone is selling any 9-3 stuff im open to buy
looking from anything from brake rotors and pads to a downpipe and software.

I would put it on a dyno, that is a crazy amount of hp and trq with stock hw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you think is more likely, maptun, nordic, sqr all make about the same hp and torque and one claims much higher???

Do some research on bsr and you may find your answer.

Any stg 3 with a full 3" exhaust can safely make around 280bhp and 290-300ft-lbs. Any more and its just not safe in my opinion and the other tuners out there, obviously.

The tdo4 can only supply so much air and or hp, that limit is right around 290-300bhp and 300-320ft-lbs with a stg 4 tune and hw, which should include a large ets style ic, full exhaust and larger fpr to get better fuel flow.

There is not enough fuel to go any higher than 300bhp anyway. The stock pistons are also limited at about this hp.

wow, you lucky sob... this is the exact car i want (minus two of the doors). congratulations on the purchase and I wish you happy tuning. I have heard very respectable things about JZW and I am planning to have him tune my ecu when the time comes. I would recommend him highly, he knows his stuff.
