Damn, that's not cool.. I don't mind the idea of a large Saab.. But RWD and off of another GM platform.. Eh.. Will Saab EVER build their OWN car again???

What the... :nono; They're gonna build the Opel Insignia in Trollhättan? It's gonna be more of a Saab than the 9-2. :lol:
In the UK it's a Vauxhall Omega, and there not the best thing over here.
The Commodore is actually only a distant cousin to the Omega, Mike - its quite a different beast even though you can see some common styling cues between them

We're just receiving the new Holden Commodore here in the US as a re-badged Pontiac GTO.
It's been a long time since the US car consumer had a V8-powered two door full-sized coupe with some guts (310+ horsepower.) We can thank all of the marketing morons in Dearborne Michigan for thinking with their wallets and not with their patriotic hearts.
Now, seeing that same platform transformed into a Saab takes alot of imagination.... :wink:
