Porting and polishing

How hard would it be to port and polish my intake manifold and 16v head? And would you suggest I do it myself and maybe buy a few differend heads to practice on or something or pay $1000 to get a professional to do it?

Thats a great site the only thing you might want to be cautious about is if you have a turbo, the exhaust side has to have enough flow for proper spool up the turbo or well your SOL.
