Has anyone have info on how to acquire Hirsch Performance products? Particularly interested in their aluminum pedals. I contacted SAAB and according to Phil, Hirsch products are currently not available in the U.S. :(

Im glad you asked that, i saw those pedals one day when browsing and have not been able to find them, but if you do let me know, cuz i want them! Im sure there is an importer that will sell them, not like they will only fit UK car, im sure the pedals are the same all over. :cheesy:

I found a slew of sites discussing Hirsch performance parts for the 9-5 Aero but nothing much on the 9-3 Sport Sedan....I love the aluminum pedals though!

Im sure if we could find it for the 9-5 it would work, most them pedal kits are universal. You could prob put them on a VW if you wanted etc.

How about the TT/Turbo S pedals. I wonder if they will fit.

Somebody should be the guinea pig on this. I will be test fitting the Viggen dead pedal.

Love those aluminum ones. Can't wait to see what products are finally offered over here during the next year.

As for the TT pedals... why didn't you ask sooner??? I had a set sitting around and never thought to try them in the Saab!

I emailed hirsch concerning their upgrade from the 210-->230hp, and they told me it would cost approximately 1300US dollars. Now thats not the problem. I asked them if i can send my ECU to them, they do the upgrade and send it back. I got a reply back telling me "sorry, but we dont deliver to Noth America". So what, bascially they are telling me that i have to keep my car stock and cant do any modification?

Try working through one of their resellers .. there's a place in the UK http://www.hirsch-performance.com/ that may be able to help you out. Of course, you may need to coordinate this through your dealer to go through the UK dealer.. who knows.

Funny, though, how they give you an estimate in cost in US Dollars, but state they don't sell or ship to the US. Why not just quote in Euros or GBP? ;-)

Hirsch products are listed in the Saab U.K. 2004 accessories catalogue, but it seems there are no prices available yet

$380 for the '9-5' pedal set i would assume they are compatible w/ the 9-3

they are working on getting Hirsch approved for North America

contact reading saab in the U.K. to see if they'll sell them to you.

or if that doesn't work have someone here order them and then send them to you.

I asked Nick from GenuineSaab if they have the aluminum or Hirsch pedals yet. This is his reply:

Not yet. It seems the law is tricky on this one.

$380!@!!?~ Wow, I wouldn't pay more than $75.$380 USD! Let's see = $500 AUD, then add Australian premium of 20% over US prices = $600 AUD!!!! Man that's a f$#@!&**#@g ripoff! That would buy me 2 17" rims or a catback (almost).
