Well things have been good with Pegasus of late, Having replaced the turbo, CPS, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Valve Cover Gasket and plugs. I actually enjoyed driving the car over the holiday weekend. Even took a little time to work on my crappy paint.

Earlier today during my commute my CEL lit up for the first time...EVER! My first thoughts are typical--Frack!! Autozone says P0455 All the vacuum lines that were suspect have been replaced and zip tied (in some instances). Fuel Cap is in place. I'll investigate the EVAP Canister and Purge Solenoid later during the week. Does the V6 even have a Purge Solenoid?

My last question is about an electrical line I found attached to the fuse panel from somewhere behind the dash. I haven't paid attention to what fuse it is jacked into--any of you care to guess what its' function might be?

Despite the CEL, the car has been running really well. The GT15 might be a little turbo; but it sure makes the car feel a lot stronger and quicker. :)

I would tighten the gas cap even further, and clear the code. Hopefully it's that simple.

Frack is right. I have no idea what the codes mean, but you're not alone. Last night when driving home I got a P0442, "slow emissions system vacuum leak" blah blah blah. I think it's the purge solenoid that I disconnected to take pics of for someone here the other day, or not tightening the gas cap after I filled up earlier yesterday.

I've traced all the vacuum lines and haven't found a typical looking canister. I think it's near the gas tank, since there's an odd looking thing near the tank, but I'm not sure. I have no WIS, remember. There is a purge solenoid:

I cleaned mine out the other day when I took these pics. It's definitely clicking like a frequency valve should, and isn't leaking vacuum when it's closed.

I traced the evap vacuum line all the way back to the tank and found no leaks for vacuum. I had my fuel tank replaced under warranty in '06 because it was leaking, so it could be another fuel tank leak.

Ooooh! I just thought of something! It could be a leaking check valve. I'll have to go out and look at that. I'll let you know what I find.
