Question -- what exactly does something like the following do?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/+15BHP-Power-Mod%2FChip-Saab-9-3-9-5-9000-Turbo-Aero-_W0QQitemZ200374698627QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ2009081 9?IMSfp=TL090819164002r7060

Thanks.

Ya, I figured as much.. but that's an awful lot of good feedback for a placebo.

It changes resistance values of sensors or does nothing.

It fools the sensors into thinking its cooler than it is and tricking the engine into over fuelling for more power. It also burns the crap out of your piston rings and kills your engine real quick. :nono;

Sounds like a no brainer then but I'm sure on some street there's someone fitting one to their car right now.

Do not be fooled by the good feedback as the saying goes there's one born every minute. These folk think they're getting a cheap tune but they're paying for it with the lifespan of their engines.

If you want some nice tuning, check out the tuning guide link and go for something on that.

I wasn't really interested in buying it, just wanted to know what they 'did'.
