This car was purchased as a project car. The odometer reads about 90,000 miles but it was broken when we purchased the car. It has a 4 speed manual transmission with white/tan vinyl interior. The car was originally a California car that made its way to BC, then, most recently to northern Ontario.

Here is what we have done so far ...

- Head was rebuilt by a Saab expert in Oakville
- Radiator from a 1975 EMS was reconditioned and installed in the car
- Water pump was replaced (inlcuding jack shaft)
- Coolant system flushed. Gaskets replaced.
- New distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires
- New brakes and lines all around. Rubber flex hoses replaced with braided steel.
- Front calipers rebuilt
- New front handbrakes
- New shock absorbers
- New front bushings
- Brand new tires (Bridgestone Potenza's) on Saab mini lite style aluminum rims
- Reconditioned steel gas tank (rust was removed from inside of tank and re-lined with a POR product)
- Clutch salve cylinder rebuilt
- Brake master cylinder rebuilt
- Fuel ditribution system cleaned
- New fuel pump and filter

Here is a list of the major things that need to be completed ...

- The car needs a paint job
- Windshield stone chip needs to be repaired
- Cold start system needs to be tuned. It runs rough when cold.
- Speedometer does not work (the odometer stopped at 90,000 miles)

Being a west coast car, the body is in pretty good condition. The floor and structural members are solid. At some point the surface of the body panels developed some rust spots. Someone has sanded these down and touched them up with some kind of enamel paint. Hopefully you can see these in the photos.

The car comes with boxes of spare parts from other cars we have dismantled including a 1975 EMS that we parted out last fall. We will also throw in a set of soccer ball rims. There are several new parts as well, including a clutch, rear main seal, and a few others.

The car was just recently safetied and plated. We have a lot more money into the car than I know I will sell it for. We would like to get $2500 to recoup some of our costs. If you are interested, email me for photos.
