I'm new to the list, so flame gently..

Thanks to the arrival of a 2006 Cayman, there's one too many interesting cars in my driveway, so I'm reluctantly offering an '88 SPG for adoption to a good home. The car is anthracite gray, 184,000 mi.

HIGHLIGHTS: Car is a dependable daily driver; 4 fairly new Michelin MXV4's; Sony CDX-C4750 am/fm/cd works well; leather is in remarkably good condition for original; new set of rear-lid struts either available or installed; regular maintenance, very good mechanical condition; smooth gearbox, good boost, great handling thanks to fairly new shocks and suspension bushings. LOWLIGHTS: A/C works but requires yearly charging--it's been "converted" to new Freon; doors, particularly passenger side, suffer from usual rust problems along bottom edge; some rust immediately above license-plate fixture; original paint--clear coat has failed on top of car, particularly. 4th-gear "gate" occasionally fails--probably a 1-hour fix for one skilled in the art--I've never bothered as it's a minor nuisance. Automatic antenna isn't--stuck "up" fortunately. Require full down-pedal to start when warm--never a problem. Usual cracked dash board cover.
