you would need the turbo conversion pipe for pre-turbo, and viggen IC hose kit or universal piping with a couple of straight silicon couplers and TIG skills. SALE PENDING on IC and Turbo.....

that's kinda steep for the control arms man, considering they're $417 new from GS, WITH all the poly and HW. i'm just sayin....;)

yup these have all-poly, and uprated bolts for the stanchion arms, and have only been used for 6000 miles....if you want to spend $17 more + shipping on a part that is no better just because it is wrapped in plastic go ahead. I installed these with all new bushings, joints, bearings in the front end last april so that there would be no part limiting the others, these lower ball joints are good to go another 150k like my stock ones did (i didn't have to replace them, they would have been fine)....the stanchion arms are stock ones that i pressed new rubber flex joints into last april because the poly ones make the ride too stiff IMHO.
Thanks to all who have looked so far! And thanks Todd, it was great to meet you.
Turbo and IC are SOLD.

juddski88
16-04-09, 02:53 AM
never had poly in stanchions, i meant i rode in a car with poly everything and it was not pleasant, i heard teh same thing here on the boards and when i talked to NickT and Paul

you do realize you're over charging on the rotors slotted brembos for 4 corners are 320 dollars at gs
juddski88
26-04-09, 02:33 PM
haha, overcharging? for OEM? I have brembo's in the above pic of the car, they lasted 3 months no track use before warping, if you want to buy brembos go for it, but the general consensus is that the OEM viggen rotors are superior to pretty much everything except AP or Wilwood....and the 2-peice Aero rotors are nice too. thanks for your .02 cents though.

Sale pending on the 3-spoke rims, hankook tires sold, price drop on the SD springs to $200. And after removing the stanchion arms today realized the flex joints took a beating with the stiffer suspension so I can order new poly joints and press 'em in for ya all for the above price or you can have them as-is for $50. also, forgot to mention, $40 takes the mirrors pictured above, they need to be sanded and repainted to be perfect, I got them from a local salvage yard and they looked like they went through a rally race.
hey by chance are you selling the front corner lenses? I need both, cheers

I've used duralast rotors in autox over 40 K normal driving on them in addition
Pictures of said OEM directional rotors, becasue i thought from the factory the viggen rotors wern't directional

Anything else needed to run these brakes besides the rotors/calipers/pads (i.e. no relocation braket for the calipers?
Are the rotors larger than the stockers (are they the 308mm/300mm ones sold at GS)?
Thanks! :)
juddski88
08-05-09, 02:31 PM
in order to run the bigger rear rotors on anything non-viggen or non-aero, you need 9-5 aero rear hub assemblies or viggen rear hub assemblies and thier calipers/pads. the NG fronts need 5-6 mm taken off the diameter of the hub in order for the big rotors to fit. no brackets are needed. these are 308mm oem viggen rotors. GS sells them, Partsgeek.com sells them for less, and i bought them from partsgeek and am selling for even less to get rid of them.

would you remove the poly from the control arms and sell them seperately? I would be interested in just the control arms...
juddski88
01-06-09, 06:28 PM
i will but you'll only save $50.
IMHO you'd be much better off with the poly there.
