Also, anyone checked out the AERO Mufflers on ebay. Look cool but not sure if they're functional...

Well, for the money - I have been researching cats - and been getting some feedback. My initial research shows that you can go that cheap...but then there is always the thought of you get what you pay for....

Metallic core versus ceramic - metallic costs more, is more efficient, higher flow and resists heat better. It also costs more.

Being OBDII is not enough in Cali - you must be CARP compliant as well. Check out summit racing for some cats that will be legal in Cali - though technically nowhere in US and Canada are you allowed to change out a cat unless yours is currently bad. Your car will accept OBDII for diagnostics - but a CARP compliant race one will run you about $250 I seem to remember.

I want it to last and be a good design. I will check those other one's out and thanks.

Looks like a Flow Monster seen at flowmonster.com and on ebay... If so, they make heavy metal ones as well fairly cheap. I'm running two on my truck with good luck and no codes so far..... They are also SS.....
