Hi all
A couple of fresh issues have developed in the last couple of days.
Issue 1 : 1993 2.3 FPT auto. Momentary stutter and misfire when starting from cold ( ie overnight). Won't do it again that day. Starts immediately but will misfire for a few seconds or the throttle blipped. No smoke or anything else from the exhaust. No oil or water loss evident. 140k miles and just started doing it.
Issue 2 : 1994 2.0 NA manual. Paid just £85 for it (!) and it flew through the mot with just the need for handbrake adjustment. The ACC didn't work so I replaced the condensor and gassed it up. Now working perfectly. However, now whenever the ACC is turned on, I get a stutter between 2500-3000 rpm. This can happen if cruising in that range or accelerating. Turn ACC off and the miss goes away.
Any immediate ideas ?
My thoughts are perhaps
1. Onset of headgasket ?
2. Tired DI cassette ?
Ta for any ideas
