The EBC Reds aren't really a true track pad, but I think they'll suffice so long as you don't intentionally try to make your fluid boil . I don't know anything about the HPS, but I would think it would fall in the same category as the Redstuff.
Since you said you're not racing, either one should be fine.
i am going to assume that braking is more important to you than dust. I have the redstuff pads on my 02 aero and within 1 trip freshly cleaned rims are dusted over pretty badly.
i am going to try and find an alternate less dust pad when these wear, i don't think it will be too difficult
I'd agree with Ski,if you can live with the dust the EBC reds are good pads,i've found they work well with a set of Goodridge hoses,a bit of a pain to fit but well worth the effort...
go to the Akebonos next time and you will be suprised on much they don't dust.

Thats odd..... I run the redstuffs on my MY02 aero as well and my rims stay really clean. Im also running slotted and dimpled rotors but Im not sure that would make much difference. I certainly havent used every pad out there, but the reds offer an amazing stopping power for spirited daily driving. Ive never been able to slow from 130mph to 20mph so fast..
