View Full Version : Saab 9-3 Estate concept
Apparently this is not yet posted on here. This car is set to debut at Frankfurt next month. It looks an awful lot like the 9-3X, but it's not quite as good. Could be a photoshop, but I don't think it is, since the pic comes from a rather trustworthy source...

So no one's interested in the new Saab model? Hmm, ok.. it's only a 9-3 Estate.
However, to ease the pain... Here's the new Jaguar Estate. Behold the Jaguar V40, also known as the Volvo X-type. :D

I like them both, although I'd have to pick the Saab for obvious reasons.
What's the deal with the clear lenses on the rear? Clearly not a production item, but it seems to go against the typical understated elegance commonly associated with Saab.
I like it, and since it seems as though I'll never get the chance to have a new 9-3 hatch anytime soon, it will have to do! I think I've been spoiled by hatchbacks...oh well!
Any word on powertrains? I'd assume (at least initially) that it would have the current engines. Don't really care if it's AWD either...FWD, less weight, better fuel economy and a good set of snow tires will suit me just fine, thank you! :D

I really like that estate concept. I can see a bit of c900 influence in the window line
looks like a ford focus/audi estate cross to me.

I saw those in.. Ahh, I forget.. A car magazine at Border's, I think it might be "Automobile". But they said that would be the new wagon from Saab. I'm not sure where they got the pictures though.
