Does anyone know of a way to clean CAT saw one the other day looks more like a honey comb inside and was cloged up about 40%........(engine must have been struggling) i can't remember exactly, but there was a fluid used to clean the CAT without removing it.......does anyone knows about this..... Also how to tell if its bad....(noise, performance etc)..

Never heard of an effective way to clean them, that does much more then a few hard runs would to burn off what you can.

Found one today in Strauss auto store and took a pic with my cell not sure if it works but was surprised......

Cure the cause and not the symptom - a clogged CAT means there is a fault with the fueling or excessive amounts of oil is being passed into the exhaust.
