I'll post here because, even though this if for my 9000, it could apply to any model.

I noticed today that my hood has been dented in by some jerk(s) either standing on it or sliding across the top of it. (college town) The metal isn't creased, and the paint isn't damaged. I've managed to pop out main area of the dents (two) but there still remains some depression in the metal.

Is there a way to get the metal back to its original shape? Or am I going to have to take it to a pro?

Clean it, wet it, shove a plunger on it, and pull.

That may or may not work. You could always try going at it with a block of wood and a hammer. But be gentle!
