Reverse Clunk and Gas Gauge

When i put my car into reverse when is tart it up it like is hesitant to go in, so i rev it and move forward a but then when i put it in reverse it goes CLUNK and the whoel car jerks. Its doesnt do that in any other gear except reverse im thinking its just hitting hard or something when it goe sin but n e suggestions? Then my gas gauge tweeked out and then all of a sudden stopped workin and went to empty. I looked for corrosion on the plug and stuff like i had advice from but im not even sure it was the right plug, so i checked alot and they were all liek new. What should i do now?

the whole reverse thing seems like it could possibly be dirty tranny fluid or a clogged tranny filter. U should take it to a mechanic and have him look at it, or pull the transmission dip-stick and see if it looks as thou it is burnt or smells burnt. As far as the other question goes, are you sure u are turning it past 3 clicks when you put the cap on? If u arn't u have to do so. If u are, then I am not sure what it is, it might not be building up enough pressure in the system to read. I would just take it to a mechanic.
