Wow, that's a lot of bulbs that went out on a 2003. I thought they switched to LED lights in 2002? They should last forever.

I just replaced the bulbs in my ventilated seat switches -same set up as heated seat switches. I used radio shack bulbs but the green covers did not like to be removed and came off in pieces. I have found and ordered the covers (about $2 for 10) from partsexpress.com. They also have the light bulbs and also the capacitors for our alarm systems if you need them.
I am not trying to advertise. Just sharing a good source for the small electronics we need for our cars.

In 2002 only the bulbs in the instrument cluster were replaced by LED - the other switches are bulbs

I don't get this with Saab's. I have a 1996 GMC Jimmy I bought new that has a reasonable 135,000 miles on it for the age and is now my beater that only get a couple thousand miles a year - and I have never had to replace a single bulb - inside or out (now that I have posted this I am sure theu will all go).

I know the DRLs are a problem keeping all the lights on all the time, but I have had to replace more than a few bulbs (like the obvious heated seat bulbs and a few others) on my '03, for which I immediately pulled the DRL fuse a year ago when I got it.
