I just bought today...

A 1985 900 S Notchback from my Aunt and Uncle. They are the orig owners of the car and I decided it needed to stay in the family. Its black with burgundy cloth interior, 180k, 5-spd. Its a great car, and it joins my black 2002 Audi A4 3.0 in the driveway.

I'm still scouting around for ideas of things to do to the car, but I'll mostly keep it stock for now 'cause the Audi has most of my modding budget... UNLESS I come across a pre 1987 air-dam/front spoiler from a turbo. :p

This will be my 6th Saab I have owned, and my return to them after switching to Audi 5 years ago. In order, the previous cars (all manual tranny):
1987 9000 S
1989 900
1991 9000
1988 9000 turbo
1994 9000 AERO
2000 Audi A4 1.8t Sport/Quattro
2002 Audi A4 3.0 Sport/Quattro
and the new baby... 1985 900 S Notchback!!!!

I pick her up in a week or so, and then the fun begins! :D No picts yet... sorry...

Basically correct. I took the front end & SPG panel's off a 1990 SPG.

I like um cuz there's not 20 million of them running around. My rally car is an 85 notch as well. & I have a 86 notch shell out back just incase.
