As already mentioned, they are Volvo specialists, infact they are the Volvo ecu tuner of choice, very speeedparts like, giving instant kick, good drivability but not much top end. However, there are enough proven Saab specialists to make it not worth trying the unknown.

On top of that, RICA does the tuning for Kleemann, who make some of the highest-quality go-fast parts for Merc's. They aren't just good at Volvos, they're a good tuner period and I'd trust their stuff as much as I'd trust BSR's.
My friend has a RICA tune on his S60R and it's been as smooth and reliable as it was stock. I'd go so far as to say that I'd trust a big tuning house like RICA more than I would trust some of the smaller mom-and-pop Saab tuners. Those smaller companies just don't have the resources and general know-how (read: engineers instead of well-meaning gearheads) that a company like RICA/Kleemann does.
Just look at the stuff that Kleeman does:
Not even Hirsch or Sp33dparts make OEM-quality aftermarket hardware+tune packages like RICA/Kleemann's. All of the magazine reviews put Kleemann in the same category as Brabus or Alpina's old stuff when it comes to the quality of the parts and tunes that they sell.
Yeah, looking at it that's my guess too, I'm kinda curious about the nature of the joint venture between the two
