Hi everyone I am the proud owner of a 91 Saab 900 Aero and am thinking of getting a 9-5 estate. I have read the forums and it seems the general concensus is the Aero is the model to go for. As funds are in short supply I cannot afford a late model (03-04) one so I am considering a Linear with Aero alloys etc. I will do the necessary brake upgrades etc before boosting the power but are there any routes (that arent too expensive) which will allow me to get the best power output. I have looked at BSR, Maptun etc are any better or worst than others . Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
In all honesty, time you've bought Aero wheels/tyres, spent out on ECU tune, upgraded brakes and got the same suspension set up as an Aero, you're better off just buying an Aero. Get an older one if necessary.
If you're looking at tuning at all, just get the Aero. I've spent many times the difference in initial cost just bringing mine up to the same spec
The Aero brakes, suspension, and turbo are all much much better than the base models. This will save you BIG$$$ down the line.

Thanks everyone for the response Ill keep looking for a cheaper Aero then.
