So i am on my 3rd week without my 9-7x. Apparently the rear compressor that controls the self leveling read suspension is shot and my dealer in Upstate NY claims they are on back order nationally. At this point they are "attempting" to pull one off the line. Anyone have any further information on this issue? Anyone have any luck obtaining one?

HELP-- Lost in Syracuse

Good Luck finding one.... This is my second compressor needed changed out (55K). Apparently the same - "BACKORDERED" or "Due to the strike........" hoping by the end of the third quarter to receive one> BRUTAL planning - business as usual with GM

3 weeks is tough. Did you at least get a decent loaner while your vehicle is off the road??

No- they didn't even give me a decent loaner-- to add insult to injury- Got a stipped down Chevy s-10 with plastic seats.

wow i didn't get anything like that when my thing was in for 3 days.... i found it funny that they actually ran out of cars to give me, however they told me to rent a car from the budget next door and bring the bill in, they would cover it, whatever i wanted... So i rented out a Durango for the hell of it, they covered the entire rental cost...

So I am digging up the past, I'm in TX and my 2005 is having the same issues. Sure seems to take them a long time to diagnose this. Mine has been in the shop for 5 days now. I have a brand new set of tires on this car that I put 5K miles on and rotated and balanced them and now the steering feels weird and is in alignment. I am suspecting this issue caused my tires to wear funny after spending $700 on a new set! If it feels funny after they fix this, I may be requesting them to comp me on a new set of tires. My rear end started feeling lose and only the rear 'rising' around turns and rocking if i hit a dip turning onto another road at an angle. I'm starting to get really pissed at this car too! I bought it hoping that it would be a good car to hang onto for a long time and not have a car payment but this thing has been to the shop under warranty nonstop. O2 sensors, crappy battery, cosmetics falling apart inside, the entire front bumper cover sags!, there is no support underneigh like the envoys and simlar cars have because it blocks air flow, so it sags! a gap of over an inch between the hood line and where the front of the bumper plastic starts, you name it its going wrong on this car. GM quality, which is why I sold my Yukon, same crap.

Well i feel your pain-- had lots of little stuff that bugged me-- Squeak in the door panel had to go in twice for that-- they finally fixed it.-- Shifter boot replaced twice-- etc etc. As far as the self leveling shocks-- I finally got sh!tty with SAAB and started dialing and talking to as many people as I could. Got a listening ear after 6 calls and voila-- 2 days later had the parts. It is too bad-- I really love the car but am scared about waht happens when I go off warranty---

I wouldnt worry too much, it is still a trailblazer underneath which means the parts are going to be MUCH cheaper than say a 9000 or something.

Anrand, not sure the mileage on your vehicle but recommend an extended warranty if you plan on keeping vehicle. Purchased ext. warranty through dealer, sold the vehicle, and company prorated the unused balance (85%) back to me. Even after spending $900.00+ with the ext. warr. on a leveling system that took almost 2 months to get! Good Luck

What my experience has been in the past with lemon GM Yukon, is if you complain and tell the dealer about your issue while its under warranty, they must honor the work. As long as you have the documentation. So if its an on going issue that continues after my warranty expires, then they have to fix it no charge. If it continues up to 3 times and still cant seem to repair it, then falls under the lemon law.
