I know what you mean, there is huge clearance around the outside suggesting the caliper is too deeply set. I know what issues you and Wes had fitting the Evo brakes.
Well if the guy is on here someone needs to take his shoes off and smack him over the head with it.....who works on cars in what ever the hell those are called?
Not only was the mounting bracket drilled on an Irish jig [old school Coventry craftsman gag, it is still not funny - calling a hammer a Birmingham screwdriver is still mirthworthy though] but those discs are puny. Cannot be bigger than 300mm, so why not just fit 308mm Aero brakes that just bolt right up and deliver?
That was probably a test fit, and not bolted down. But who knows. This guy did it on his Viggen (same front brakes as 9-5 Aero) http://www.viggenfactfile.de/myviggen.html
