Hi all.
I know there are loads of audio install threads but my problem is lil specific and I couldnt find any posts that address this issue.
Has anybody any idea what the fault here could be?
I have just had installed a used AS3 HK system including the wiring loom in my 2000 Aero (RHD). All is functioning except i am getting no output from the 6x9s on the shelf or the rear driverside door. Other things I have checked/noticed:
1.The speaker test mode seems to fire all speakers in sequence but there is a silence when the rears should kick in.
2. I have 2 HK amps tried both same scenario. So suely not an amp problem.
3. There is an occaional rumble from the 6x9s
4. If you touch the cone of one 6x9 the cone on the other speaker flexes.
The only thing left to change is the wiring from the amp to the subs but that involves some cutting and splicing of loads of wires so leaving that til last.
Hope that makes sense to ya and really hope somebody may be able to point us in the right direction for a fix.
Has anybody any idea what the fault here could be?
Many thanks
