The other day my wife drove me to pick up my 9-3SS ARC from the Auto Shop where I get my Service done. Her 9-7X Linear was dirty so I told her to go across the street to the automated Blue Cow Car Wash. A few minutes later, she called me to tell me that the car wash had shredded the Right Rear door Applique ASM Part# 15276875 (which is the Black Plastic Trim between the Car Door Windows). The car wash manager had his mechanic take a look, but of course came up with a reason they would not pay for replacement.
Fortunately, I called down to Carter SAAB in Seattle to ask about the $48.00 part and Carter informed me that it would be covered under warranty. Of Course, now my wife swears we will only wash her baby by hand in the future.

Seriously, it is good to see that she cares as much for her 9-7X as you do for your 9-3SS.
That is all too rare.

Funny thing is, it will probably be me outside washing it by hand in the future. :cheesy:
I also noticed the seal around the License Plate Holder / Handle area of the Tail Gate is coming off again. We just replaced it about 6 months ago. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this?
I haven't had any of that trouble. :confused: There was a TSB for some of the earlier Trailblazers about the seal around the license plate though.

Was notified this week that the part came in, but that the Service Department says it does NOT fall under warranty as the Parts Department originally stated. Scheduled an appointment for next week anyways because there is now a whole list of work needed:
1. Replace the cheap Applique ASM that came apart in the Car Wash.
2. Replace the Bushing's Plastic Button that fell apart in the cargo area.
3. Dash Cup Holder is stuck in the closed position.
4. License Plate Holder / Handle area Seal, which is coming off for the 2nd time!
5. None of the 3 12V Cigarette Lighter Sockets work.
It's the little things that are annoying...:roll:
