hi people I have had a Saab 9-5 se estate 2.3, i have had this car for about 2 months I’m very pleased, the only problem is the high amount of body roll, it would not be so bad if I didn’t have leather seat but it’s a little too much, I have been looking around the forums and it seems it’s not just me with this problem.

Would upgrading my suspension springs solve this problem????? Cannot afford to do a full suspension upgrade at the mo, but I have been looking to just change the springs there are a couple on the market and I cannot decide what ones to choose what ones would you recommend???

Out of those three I would buy the eibachs personally.

Are the lesjofors any good (comfy ride)? I'm scared of them because of how cheap they are and previous experience with other cars. Cheap has a tendency to be harsh and bouncy.
Yeah I was looking into those too but i am also not too sure about them. My friend just bought some Megans for his 04 9-3 and they felt very good when i drove the car, he only paid about 150 for them and I was very pleased with the ride the thing is I couldnt find them for the 9-5 so who know maybe someone bought them or tested them out.

im getting a little lost too many options, anti roll bar or shocks and springs, i know in a ideal world both would be best, but i would have to choose one of them suspenion or anti roll bar????

i have seen this saab holding kit, would this be the same as whats on a aero???

would it be worth upgrade to a aero shack spring and roll bar maybe getting a secondhand set from a aero donor

That kit is essentially 2001 Aero suspension. I put it on my '01 LPT and I'm happy with the end results. But I needed some additional tweaking - custom spring spacers to get back to decent rear ride height, shims to get back to decent rear camber due to lowering, better rear shocks to replace the @#$@#%!! ones that come with the kit. Do some searches for "sport chassis" and you will see lots of discussion.

thanks for the help i found a good thread that help be understand whats good and whats not.... http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=105545&highlight=sport+chassisi think this sports holding kit is not for me, sounds like not much of a change for my 9-5 rubber dingy, i think i will go for the stuffer harder drive and go for Eibach Pro-Kit Springs but if i put them on my stock shocks do you think they will be ok???? then maybe later i will get some better shocks

Eeuroparts.com also has the roadholding kit upgrade for $662 http://eeuroparts.com/productdetail.aspx?code=8746

Personally, I would do it all at once if you can. The ride will be really harsh and bouncy on the stock shocks due to the spring being severely under-dampened. I would almost be inclined to say, if you had to, to do sport shocks first. Anyone else agree?

Seems like a good deal! Being a sport kit, be prepared for a lower, stiffer ride (obviously). Shouldn't be too harsh though if they are being sold as a unit.
