hi all, does any one know upto what bhp the speed parts open air filter will be adequate?
and also how would you check to see if the standard bosch dv is failing on a 9-5 aero?
cheers
The standard paper filter is good for 400 bhp apparently
Turbo Bypass Valve Testing for Failures?
One can test the bypass valve to see if it is faulty by removing the vacuum hose from the intake manifold and applying suction to the hose. If the valve is faulty the suction applied will not hold creating a vacuum leak. A leaking bypass valve will often cause the car to stall when coming to a stop!
yeah i herd the standard one was good just im after the noise of a open air, im going to try and get my aero upto 350bhp so i just want to make sure the speed parts one will cope
Just curious to know whether you were going to use Wossner pistons or another supplier...??
