Howdy!,

I think you'll find that as a BOV, if you installed it you would only end up with a CEL.

Nice looking valve, but not for the T7.

There's a huge difference between a blow-off valve (BOV) and a bypass valve (BPV)

The stock Bosch valve is a bypass valve, also known as a recirculating boost valve because that's exactly what it does: it recirculates excess boost back into the intake flow, keeping your computer happy because it can accurately meter the amount of air getting into the engine. This will keep you from getting CELs.

A blow-off valve, like the one you first posted, vents the excess boost into the air, usually with a loud "Fast and Furious" PSSSSSSHHHHT. It's also called a dump valve. That excess air dumped into the atmosphere can't be accurately accounted for by the car, so it eventually gives up and gives you a CEL.

Forge makes both BOVs and BPVs, so make exactly sure you know what you're getting.

good luck!

You can also achieve this with a good BPV and an open intake...
