Hi all,
I found a 1999 saab 9-5 SE that I'm debating on purchasing. I was originally planning on picking up a newer 9-3, but I found this one with a blown engine and I don't think I can pass it up. It has the standard 2.3 turbo B235E and aisin auto. My question is, how tough are those auto's? I am planning on running a little more boost and am hoping to transplant my standalone ecu in from my other car into the 9-5. Can the auto take 300hp? I also haven't found much on the limitations of the B235E in my searches. It seems like the T7 ecu has historically been the limiting factor. Any advice or links would be appreciated. It seems google is failing me on this one.
