What part of the B2X5 piston fails?

As the title says, what's the weak point of these pistons, what gives out?

Wow, that's quite the failure. So it's not one part like the crown or something like that, the whole damn thing comes apart?

That is a silly amount of carbon build up.

The carbon was from the customer driving it after the initial fracture while trying to figure out why it was using so much oil. Only a secondary result.

So was it on standard tune then or massive upgrade?

Stg1 Been a while on that particular car.. Can't remember if MAF was dead or not. It got JEs though.
