I have done a lot of searching and reading the past few days on the subject. I understand that two lines can be reused and the third is a slight fabrication. While I am doing this swap I would like to upgrade all the turbo lines as I do it. I found a post where Stromer was gathering his materials for the swap and found this list:

EAR-300104ERL
Earl's Performance Auto-Fit Hose Ends $5.88
(3) $17.64

EAR-306004ERL
Earl's Performance Auto-Flex Hose $31.88
$31.88

EAR-309104ERL
Earl's Performance Auto-Fit Hose Ends (3) $13.88
$41.64

EAR-9919BFGERL
Earl's Performance AN to Metric Adapter Fittings $9.69
(4) $38.76

EAR-9919BFHERL
Earl's Performance AN to Metric Adapter Fittings $9.69
(3) $29.07

RUS-632150
Russell ProFlex Hose $19.88
$19.88

Does anyone know if this is all that is necessary for new lines? Any help would be appreciated as I would like to begin the implant asap and order appropriate software and more hardware. I have tried a PM but got no reply. Thanks for any help in advance.

You can actually reuse all three lines if you get two new banjo bolts. When I put in a TD04, I was going to go the same route as you, making all new stainless steel braided lines, but you'll end up spending over $100 for lines that may not even last as long as the stock steel ones.

If you go with new hoses, you should take a careful look at how the existing lines are routed. From what I can remember, I don't think there are three fittings that can be straight. Two are all I can think of, so you'd more than likely need 4 right-angle hose ends and two straight ones. You also have one too many AN to metric adapters in your list.

I had 2 other banjo's from the td04 itself and from my t25.

copper washers.

annd...a piece of fuel line where I used it to join two ends of 'hard steel lines', as it was much easier to route this way and has held up for... nearing a year?

so, my lines costs was... $0.

Thanks for the help. Im going to take my time on this project and make sure I do everything correctly as I do plan on using new lines. Jeremy R., I see you are from Seattle. Is your car a 2 door scarab green by chance?

I've been doing some thinking and am now re-thinking how big I want the lines to be. I understand that -4an is equal to a 1/4" Outside diameter, correct? Is that big enough for oil and coolant? Or should I go with a -6 instead, equal to a 3/8" diameter?

Also, will I still need 12mm banjo bolts? or I only need those if I am reusing my old lines?

No one has any input on the size of the lines?
