Hey,

So right now I have a 3inch cat less downpipe on my 900, but that along with the Saab sport exhaust, it sounds kind of loud, and I cant take my car to emissions either. Any way, do you guys have any recommendations for which universal high flows are good out there? I've been looking at some Dynatech and MagnaFlow ones off Summit racing, but I have no idea what to look for when it comes to finding the right cat for my setup. There is also a very nice one that GS sells (little cheaper too), but when I inquired about specs (length, width, type, etc.) on it, the only answer I received was that its the same one they use in there downpipes... Any advice on what to look for, or will sound/work well?

if they put a high flow cat, would it make the exhaust Quieter?

I think that it would be quieter than not having one at all.;)

Yea, my auto shop teacher said that he could weld it up for me, and that he could get me a nice high flow for about $150, but I would like to chose what kind I get....Any one know anything about the GS one?

Yep, I took a good look at mine when I got my downpipe a couple of weeks ago. It's a stainless steel metal monolith type made in the USA by Vibrant Performance. It's very nice looking, and very short. I didn't come across any that short when I was looking for one for my MP Performance downpipe a while back.

what kind of performance differences will be had with the ~$55 Catco, the "high-flow", and the race cats? I have a Catco sitting for my downpipe

well good luck if u were in the kenosha area i would say take it to daves disscount mufflers they work on all high end imports and old muscle cars ur jaw will drop when u c the cars they have just on there lot
