ok, i havnt been on this site for a long time... havnt had a computer since im not going to school anmore... but i am getting to the point where i want to start doing some work to my car, but i dont know where to start since i have the V6 and iknow they dont make much for it. i still dont have tons of money, but im looking for a few good ideas on were to go. im looking to do more performance work other than looks which will come later on down the line. i know im gonna need a new exhaust soon since my muffler is rusting a lot and i was thinking of going with the CTI, so if anyone has any good opinions that would be great. thanks for your help.

With a catback, you would be able to install a Nordic stage 2 upgrade... it gives you an extra 40hp and 60lbft of torque. That's mighty impressive, even for the V6 ;)

Also, I would put in a new airfilter:

Upgrade your stock air snorkel:

Or replace both with an open intake:

After this your brakes and suspension will be the weakest link. Upgrading those will allow you to keep more speed during cornering, and spend less time stopping.

The stage 2 tune would work with the CTI catback as well. The packaged Simons exhaust is also very good, but it is very quiet. Just a nice subtle deep tone.

if i had the money to buy the stage 2 i would but thats a little to pricy for me right now, i need money for gas still... so right now i think im gonna stick to doing the CTI catback and when i get around to it doing the open intake, i just need to stop being lazy and do it since i want to do it the way of taking off the front bumper not through the lights

o im willing to pay the $475 or what not for that, thats one paycheck for me but i just dont want to spend $1400 right now on something... i do like your idea of that also, but i want bigger pipes so thats why i want the CTI exhaust, im just picky when it comes to cars, rather have nice then crappy
