I'd go the Bilstein route rather than the Saab roadholding package. The Saab option will be softer if thats a consideration...if you want sheer cornering ability then the Billy's will win every time.
I have read somwhere that the sachs shoxs in the saab suspention is not so good. espesially the rear suspention is known to fail on standard sachs setup. Why should the aero setup be any better. I would go for Bilstein or Koni. I have Koni myselfe and they are perfect for my use.
Thanks for the input. I had a feeling the 'Steins would be the choice after reading on this forum how good they are. Is there anything commonly replaced with ( you know, while there you should replace this or that) the install of these dampers? Car has 100K.
If you are going to install Bilsteins, get yourself a set of used Aero springs out of the classifieds or from eBay. Can't cost any more than $100. Those, when coupled with the Bilsteins, are absolutely PERFECT. I think the HDs may be a little too stiff for use with the stock springs.

I'm sure if you called the guy, he might make you a package deal with your springs and shocks of choice as well. I called him and he was very very helpful. He made me a package deal with the Bilsteins and some brake parts for my parent's car, and even declared my shipment below cost so that I didn't have to pay duty!
