Playing CD's in the Nav System

When CD's are played using the single slot, is there a way for track names to appear? I used to have a 9-3 and it would display the track name if it was recorded with the song. The same CD's just show up as TRACK 1, TRACK 2, etc. Also, the 9-3 and 9-5 show the names of the songs. Is it possible with the Nav system in the 9-7. Also, who makes the 9-7 nav system vs. that used in the 9-3 and 9-5.

I have the same thing, my 9-3 has CD text from my play list, but the same CD only shows the track name in my 9-7, I think it comes down to the fact that the 9-7 does not have CD text capability

Would be nice if the feature could be added through a software/firmware update via DVD or something...wishful thinking :)
