Having looked at pics of these fittings; I see where a man must use a special tool to extract the check valves; if this were to be properly designed its removal could be easy...
IMO, using a plastic holder/retainer is OK for a toy, but not an expensive fuel pump..
What is wrong with GM and Saab ??

It works fine for me :lol: You just need to put [q.uote=(Poster's name)] with the quote here followed by [/quote]. You obviously don't put the period in the first quote tag, but I had to make it not work.
That metal retaining clip is being used by Saab USA for a recall on all 9-3s/9-5s that may have fuel pumps with damaged plastic retaining tabs. I've installed hundreds of these things.
