I have 2002 93 Convertible. Got Soft top failure recently. I live in Zimbabwe & nearest Saab garage is 1200km away. We stripped everything inside the boot but can not get to latches holding the back bow (underneath the back windscreen) - qualifeid auto-electrician checked all microswitches and pump - all fine, but can not access the bottom of the hard plastic panel cover, due to fabric "storage bag". Anyone know how to remove the "storage bag" without cutting it, or how to access 2 back latches from the boot/trunk. Tnx
Firstly, unfortunately, this is the wrong section for your car - this section relates to the newer model 9-3, 2003 on (2004 for convertibles)
If you post your question here, someone may be able to assist.
Secondly, I just have to comment that it's very unusual to see a Saab in Zim' - I used to spend a lot of time in Harare, as it was my favourite destination on our route network.
I hope you get your car fixed - and the same goes for the country - if you know what I mean!
ATB,
Phil
