Hi would this intercooler fit a 1998 900 turbo ?
Do you all think it would be any good
or have any of you got one fitted ?
Please
I am having a power steering pipe fitted soon as I have a leak, this would present a perfect time to get the intercooler changed from the stock unit. As it will need taking out to change the pipe.

jak stoll says the largest drop in i/c on the market he's seen is 20X8X3.5
i did the conversions the only thing is the length, its almost 21 inches, but I think it would still propably fit

It becomes a question of core size vs. overall length. Core is about 20" overall length is about 27".

That one is not very good in my opinion... The core is not of good quality, there are better options out there,

Money says he recommends ETS.
But, for real this time there are better of course but they will cost more chedder.
Check out GS's website they have a Forge and an ETS unit that will fit the bill.

For plug and play, the options would be the mp performance for up to stage 3 range and then Jak's or the one I came up with, which is the ets unit or the forge unit. Any one of these 4 would do a decent job and be much better than the stock or viggen ic. I can get a little better price on the ets unit. Pm me and I will give you the details.
The ets unit is huge and it does require some slight sanding or grinding to the inner crash bar to squeeze that puppy in there, but mine is in with ac and all and its a pretty big core volume wise, its a 24x8x3.5" core.

Thanks for the info
Any good places to get the tubing as this seems to be a problem with any of the universal intercoolers.

Agreed. You don't need something exhaust grade so ebay kits will do just fine.
